This journal is moving. I don't like the idea of submitting to Russian content laws, and I no longer trust livejournal.

I am sad. I've been here a long time, and it's been a decent platform for much of it, despite being owned by a Russian corporation. Now, with the latest terms of service, they've gone too far for me.

I've posted this before, but feel the need to post it again. A holiday that makes a good portion of the people it's supposed to celebrate feel bad isn't a great holiday in my book. Washington state is in pretty pathetic financial shape. Tuition at state universities is out of control. We can barely cover basic needs in health and human services, and indeed those are getting cut and trimmed.
